Paddle Raise for "Demos, Models & Specimens"
"Raise your paddles to support and enrich our students’ science laboratory experiences. Catherine Cook students are eager learners with colorful imaginations and a deep curiosity about the world around them. The Catherine Cook Science Department; comprised of Lara Kossiakoff, Marea Spentzos-Inghram and Cezar Simeon; is committed to providing a rich curriculum and an authentic hands-on science experience that engages the interests and abilities of CCS students. To this end, they are looking to acquire a variety of science equipment that enhances laboratory instruction and fieldwork: laboratory apparatus, electronic measurement probes, biological models and specimens, physical science demonstration kits, field and stream sampling devices, and a networked weather station. The team is also looking to enhance the incorporation of technology to support science instruction by acquiring digital microscopes, document cameras, and iPads."
